“From West Fresno to the School Board — Fighting for Every Child’s Future.”

“From Foster Care to School Board — A Story of Resilience”

“I’m Not Running for a Title — I’m Running for Our Children.”

  • I am a graduate of Fresno Unified.

  • I have worked for Fresno Unified as a counselor and program manager.

  • I’ve developed Tier II & Tier III interventions to close achievement gaps

  • I’ve trained educators in restorative practices, trauma-informed care, and social emotional learning.

  • I have a doctorate in education with an emphasis in organizational leadership.

  • I understand both policy AND real classroom realities.

I have seen what happens when students are supported and when they are not. Our children deserve more than promises. They deserve leadership with experience.

I was born and raised in West Fresno. At age seven, I entered foster care due to complex trauma. My grandmother raised me along with seven other children in kinship care.

Because of educators, faith leaders, and community members who believed in me, I overcame behavioral, emotional, and social challenges and earned my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership.

Today, I have spent more than 15 years serving students and families in Area 1 as a school counselor, program manager, professor, and community mentor.
